The Director of Perioperative services at Harrison Medical Center is an exciting opportunity. We are in pursuit of an engaging leader who is looking to join our team to support surgical services in the areas of cardiac, thoracic, minimally invasive/robotics, general, GYN, Urology, Orthopaedic/Spine specialties over two hospital campuses as well as continue to grow our surgical service volumes. The Perioperative Director will also lend expertise in planning, process improvement and equipment selection in the building of a $436 million dollar state-of-the art, level three trauma hospital expansion that is expected to open in 2020, in Silverdale Washington. The surgical service departments this leader will oversee currently includes the OR, GI/Special Procedures, Sterile Processing, Pre-admit Clinic and Phase I & II PACU. Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of six years of recent work experience in perioperative nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including three years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Equivalent additional qualifying work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities may be substituted for two years of the degree requirement.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
