Daily Schedule-6:30 am -5:00 pm
Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period-80

CHI Franciscan Health - Franciscan Endoscopy Centers is hiring to fill positions within our outpatient endoscopy centers.  Come join a great team of energetic professionals as they help patients with GI concerns in receiving screening and diagnostic procedures.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a licensed provider (e.g. RN, Physician) and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, provides practical nursing care for patients referred to the Endoscopy Centers within the scope of LPN practice and in accordance with the standards/procedures of the Franciscan Health System (FHS) and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates.  An incumbent also performs related support activities (e.g. answering phones, checking patients in/out, assembling charts, etc) as required.

An incumbent uses initiative in carrying out recurring tasks within the scope of practice and established standards of care.  An RN or Physician provides specific instructions for new, difficult or unusual tasks, and is consulted when unusual/unfamiliar circumstances are encountered.

Incumbents are also accountable for developing collaborative relationships with members of the clinic at all associated facilities; participates in clinic-related business meetings, maintaining membership in the SGNA and maintaining knowledge and skills levels by attending educational offerings as required.


Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent recognized military training) and one year of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities, in a medical clinic or acute care healthcare environment preferred.


Current certification as a registered LPN in the state of Washington.

Current healthcare provider BLS certification. National Nursing Certification in Gastroenterology strongly preferred.
