Progam Manager Quality - Regional Hospital for Respiratory and Complex Care


Daily Schedule-8:00am-5:00pm
Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period-80
Weekends Required -None

Job Summary

This job is responsible for planning, leading, monitoring and evaluating the services/activities related to the quality of care delivered to all patients to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of patient care, achievement of clinical core measurements, and to ensure that activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in compliance with organizational values, professional standards, internal policies/standards/procedures and applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements.   An incumbent represents the assigned hospital in respect to system-wide quality initiatives and serves as the site-based resource/champion to drive a continuum of quality improvement based on continuous process improvement methodologies and implementation of new standards/regulations. 

Education/Work Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field, graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and six years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including two years in a supervisory or management capacity.  Work experience in performance improvement (e.g. LEAN, CAP, Six Sigma, etc) and/or clinical nursing education is preferred.

Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.


Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Department of Nursing.
